SKILL DEVELOPMENT CAMP

          Each day of the camp was started by the physical exercises and minor games taught by two students of Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of physical education.

DAY - 1

Date: 03/01/2023

            The first day program was organised by blue house members.

Inaugural function:

        The camp was inaugurated by Dr.P.Jayanthi, principal of Govindammal Aditanar College for women

Enhancing leadership qualities:

        Dr. A. Nelson Durai, Assistant professor of Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of physical education gave a wonderful powerpoint presentation on enhancing leadership qualities.

        Finally the session ended with national anthem.

DAY - 2

Date: 04/01/2023

          The second day program was organised by our red House team.

Community service - Ganthipuram village: 

          All the staff and second year B. Ed students went to Ganthipuram. We were divided into five group and given separate work. Our blue house team cleaned the temple campus.

Debate:

          One member from each house participated in the debate. Dr. T. Uma was the judge. I am also one of the participant in debate. 

Recent trends in karnatic music: 

          Our music mam Mrs. K. Sujavathi gave wonderful speech on music. We also sang together.

Day - 3

Date: 05/01/2023

       The third day program was organised by pink house members.

First Aid training: 

         Dr. I. Babu Selvakumar, physiotherapist, Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of physical education gave speech on how to help people when they are injured.

Smile therapy for self development: 

         Dr. H. Gayathri gave a lecture on laughter and its uses.

Traffic rules and regulations: 

          G. Sampath Kumar, RTO, Tiruchendur gave speech on traffic rules and its laws. He also showed the videos of accidents. He also gave us a book of rules on road.

Medical advice: 

            Dr. T. Pon Ravi Chief Medical Officer, government hospital, Tiruchendur gave speech on first aid and treatment for minor injuries.

Day - 4

Date: 06/01/2023

             The fourth day program was organised by violet house team.

All faith prayer: 

            On this morning all faith prayer was conducted. We sang three religion songs.

Fire and safety demonstration: 

           Mr. S. Rajamoorthy, station fire officer, Tiruchendur gave a demonstration how to react when fire accidents occur.

Campfire preparation: 

           Mr. K. Avudaiyappan, District training commissioner of scout and guide, Tirunelveli district gave practice to participate in camp. He also gave practice of songs and claps.

Valedictory function: 

           Dr. D. S. Mahendran, principal of Aditanar College of arts and science gave the presidential address. After then the cultural events were conducted. Each house performed a event. Our house members danced. I performed in the dance.

PONGAL CELEBRATION

we have celebrated pongal festival in traditional manner.various competition like rangoli,uriyadi,luckydraw were conducted.

DECEMBER

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS 

DATE:23.12.2022

Our college has organised Christmas and new year celebration on this day.  At the end of this celebration we have received gifts from santa claus.We all enjoyed the celebration with the cultural events.

NOVEMBER

PLANTING SAPLING

We have planted sapling in our training school to create awarness among students about significance of planting trees.students shown much interest in planting the trees. "PLANT A TREE AND PLANT A HOPE FOR FUTURE"

CHILDREN'S DAY CELBRATION

we have conducted a lot of programmes for bringing up students talents on children's day. Events like drawing ,dancing, mimicry,  drama, speech, individual talent. Students have took part in the competition sportively. To encourage them winners are awarded with prizes by our school Headmaster.

  

   

GROUP LEARNING

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

 To teach the importance of group learning we have separated students into teams. Students are very interested to share their views among their teams. Students came up with different point of views.

 

OCTOBER

PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT FOR CLEAN CITIES

Government has organised awareness programme for school students in the name of "People movement for clean cities".In that programme importance of separating garbages and steps to make house and environment clean were thought to the school students.

RED BALLOON

DATE:11.10.2022

RED BALLOON movie was telecasted for school students of class VI to IX. Students enjoyed watching movie.

DEBATE

 We have conducted debate for school students in the topic "DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE IS BOON OR BAN". Students from various classes  took part in the debate willingly.

SEPTEMBER

         TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

        We felt very much happy to celebrate our first teacher’s day celebrations with our students. On this day we got valuable feedback about us from our students

QUARTERLY EXAMINATION

AUGUST

 SCHOOL INTERNSHIP

DATE:01.08.2022

school Internship was started on August 1,2k22. I got Central hr sec School, kayalpatnam  for my teaching practice. The duration of school Internship was 16 weeks. Hoping to get new experiences and training in this period.

OBSERVATION CLASS

 We have observed our guide teacher class for 1 week to learn more from them and to observe the students.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

          I have celebrated 75th Independence Day in my training school. In our school they have conducted many competitions for  our students. Students have participated in the competition eagerly. 

JULY

 2nd Semester Examination

Our B.Ed 2nd semester exam commenced on 15th of July 2k22  and ended on 20th of july 2k22. Our examination centre was VOC college of Education, Tuticorin. With the help of almighty I have written all my exam and waiting for my results.
